Cannot access the internet

IN event viewer I got this message : The TCP/IP services
service terminated. It failed to load or initilize. I
cannot access the internet and my system is running slow.
Could the problem be a virus?

Yes, it is possible you have a virus. Go to www.microsoft.com/protect
Make sure your computer has the latest windows update and the very latest
virus definitions from your AV vendor.
Scan your box for viruses. If other computers on your network, you will
need to do the same for them.
