Cannot Access Printers & Faxes

I cannot gain access to Printers and Faxes on the Windows Control Panel. When
I click on Control Pane, Printers and Other Hardware, the on either Printers
and Faxes, or View installed printers or fax printers, the computer freezes
up. Any suggestions?
