Cannot access my own encrypted files

I tried to do a System Restore, but it failed with an error. The only
restore points are ones created after reinstalling Media Player 11, Windows
MSCompPackV1 and Windows XP KB926239. None of these restore points worked.
I rebooted, hit F5 and selected to boot with that last known configuration
that worked.

Now I can log on fine, but I cannot access any of my encrypted files. I
exported my keys to a .pfx file a couple months ago. Importing it still does
not give me access to my files.

Does anyone have any suggestions? It is absolutely critical that I resolve
this issue.

I think I have a little more information about the cause of my problem, but I
still need to figure out how to resolve it.

To alleviate disk space issues, I used the TweakUI PowerToy to change the
location of my "My Documents" folder to a different drive. I did this at
least a year ago. Yesterday something happened that made the system believe
this folder was back on my boot drive. When I changed it back, this problem
occurred.

I still need to figure out how to fix it. Please offer any suggestions you
may have.
