Cannot access links via My Computer

Dear Forum,

I have a quite new IBM T43 and am geneally vey happy with my purchase.
However, lately I have had difficulties accessing hyperlinks in MS
outlook and MS Word.

Regardsless of whether I log on as Administrator or through my personal
user account (which is part of the administrator user group) I cannot
follow a hyperlink. Windows XP (incl. all critical updates).

When trying to doubleclick a link Windows tells me that "the action has
been cancelled due to limitationsn on the cmoputer. Contact the system
administrator."

I have tried to call IBM/Lenovo but they claim its an error coming from
Microsoft.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Kristian,

Open Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Programs tab.Choose Reset
Web Settings. Click OK and close the dialog. Then, from Start/Run, type the
following command and press Enter:

regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll

If nothing helps, inspect the htmlfile and http associations in the
registry, as per KB310049:

OL2002: Error Message: This Operation Has Been Cancelled Due to Restrictions
in Effect on this Computer...:
