Cannot access internet through cable modem after installing Service pack 1a

After i install service pack1a and reboot my computer, i
can no longer access the internet. i access the internet
through a cable modem. when i remove the service pack, i
can access the internet again. any solutions?
 
You can try run,type:cmd
At the prompt type:Ipv6 UNINSTALL
When its finished type:EXIT
Reboot computer,
