Cannot access certain microsoft websites.

I am using IE 6.0 with all the latest updates and cannot
access: http://officebeta.microsoft.com.
just times out. I have another computer in my office
that can access it with no problem over the same cable
modem. I even disconnected the hub/router and plugged
into the cable modem directly and still cannot access
this web site. Any ideas on what settings can be
obstructing this?

System is a Sony Vaio RZ26G with the Sony OEM load with
XP home upgraded to XP Pro.

Thanks!

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS, reboot.

Or, try the /release switch with this tool.

Renaming hosts file might not be wise, because you loose localhost setting.
Better to edit that file and comment out unwanted rows.

HOSTS doesn't even exist in a default Windows install.
