canceling incoming mail

How do I cancel incoming mail before it is fully downloaded? Apparently, an
email is trying to enter my inbox with a download time of 35 minutes. An
error message with the number 0x800CCOF is appearing also in the "progress"
box after half a minute or so.

Press the Cancel All button during the Send Receive process.
Log on to your webbased account to remove the message on-line.
