My system is "stuck in an update ready to install."
It has, ready to install, a "Security Update for Windows Media Player 6.4
(KB925398)"
The problem is that I already have Media Player 11, and in any case it fails
to succeed in the install every time. "Updates were unable to be
successfully installed."
And so the little yellow indicator just stays there, telling me I've got
updates ready to install. I always want to be sure, so now and then I check
and it's that update, still trying to install itself.
So I want to say "Forget that update. You can get rid of it. You can cancel
it. It's not needed."
Is there some way to do it?
Thanks,
John
