Yes, in edit mode the animated graphic will be shown as a still picture; but
in show mode, the graphic will animate.
Oh, by the way, it is far better to save graphic to your hard drive (usually
as a GIF file) and then insert it into PowerPoint. You can run up the
presentation size and bring a host of problems on yourself by using cut and
paste to get objects into PowerPoint. It is an extra step, but well worth
the time it takes.
