I bought a new computer with windows xp. Is it possible to burn some
old exe files from my Mac to a cdr, and have them readable and
downloadable to windows xp?

No. They may be readable, but that's all. You won't be able to execute them.
Macintosh executables are completely different from Windows ones, and
neither type of exe can be used on the other type of computer.

Yes you can, as long as you use the correct format when burning them. You
have to use the dos/windows format. For everybody else who said no a Mac
does not recognize or use .exe files, it will see them but that's it. if he
really has .exe files on his Mac then they are just there and do not work.
I'm talking about files with the extension of .exe not Mac executables.
