Can you send an email but block replies - i.e. newsletters

I want to send newsletters via emails but I don't want people to send replies
back from the newsletter. can or are you able to prevent people from sending
replies and if so how do you go about putting a reply block on the email.

You don't have to answer the e-mails and you can filter the replies, but
people should at least have the opportunity to tell you where to shove your
spam should they wish. You cannot prevent anyone from sending a message to a
valid e-mail address. Note that if you abuse the e-mail service you will
quickly find your account blacklisted and probably closed.
