can you save your place in a document so it will load there?

Is there a way to "bookmark" your last location when you save so the next
time you open your document it will automatically go there?

When you reopen the document, press Shift +F5 which is the GoBack
command. Pressing it several times will take you to the last three
places where you made any changes.

If it doesn't work properly in your copy of Word, see
