Can you recover any files after the recycle bin has been emptied? We have
someone who has a roaming profile that lost some of her desktop files because
she accidentally deleted them from the pc that she was one which also seems
to have deleted it from her original pc. Any help on recovery tips would be
appreciated.

Unless you have file recovery tools (search on google) there isn't any way to
recover the files. And that is assuming the system hasn't overwritten the part
of the disk that contained the data because when the "file" is deleted only the
pointer to the file is erased, the data is left behind and the system is allowed
to use that part of the disk again. The point of the recycle bin is to make sure
people don't delete stuff they want by having to delete things twice, only after
they are sure. Maybe she will learn this time, even if she wasn't the one who
emptied the bin.
