can you merge a excel to infopath?

I'm trying to set up infopath. I have a excel file with all the information I
need. Can I send that file to infropath?
 
I think it might be possible put pretty complicated, I also believe you have
the best chance of getting a correct answer if you post your question in MS
infopath NG
