Can you mark only the recipient for a read receipt?

I have e-mails where I'd like that only the recipient is marked back to me
for a read receipt. I cc my boss on a lot of e-mails, and she doesn't like
the read receipt feature. Any ideas?

No. Receipt requests apply to all the recipients of a message.
