Can you create indexes using import spec file?

I notice that when making an import specification file, you can select:
Yes (Duplicates OK)
Yes (Duplicates not OK)
NO

Does this mean that your information will be indexed on its way into the
database via this import specification file? Or is "Yes..." or "No" in the
index field meaning you are saying it ALREADY was indexed? I think it was
the former, but I want to make sure.

Your creating the index during import, errors in the import caused by
indexes will be put in separate table to help you cure the problem. Pete D.
