I want to know if I can compress my hard drive more than once. I did it
once, now it won't let me do it again.

You can compress it as many times as you like. If you do
it a sufficient number of times then you can store 100 GBytes
of information on an ordinary floppy disk of 1.44 MBytes
capacity.

The above statement is obviously patent nonsense. No,
attempting to apply the same compression mechanism
more than once will NOT deliver any additional benefits,
even if it was permitted.

Thank the Lord. You shouldn't have done it even once.

hard drives are very inexpensive these days, why even bother to compress it.
it is not very east to uncompress as it requires more free disk space.
once you add something to the hard drive. it becomes almost impossible to uncompress.

If you are asking about compressing an already-compressed drive, no you
can't do it again. If you could, and you followed that to its logical
conclusion, if you did it enough times, you could compress a 100GB drive
down to 1 byte.

LOL! Good advice. I agree completely.

It puts all your eggs in one basket. If something goes wrong, you can lose
everything on the drive.
