Is there a way to set up Outlook to recieve notificatons of new email when it
is closed. I thought there used to be an icon in the systray that notified
the user if there was new mail and was able to open outlook at that point. Am
I wrong or does this feauture exist or not??

Thanks for the help

No, it is not possible. It occasionally will happen, but only because
outlook did not close completely.

You can edit your registry to make out look minimize itself to the tray and
still get notified of new mail.

Minimized != closed.
