I doubt it since Media Center is basically an OEM version of Windows Pro.
The good news is MC and Pro are exactly the same version of Windows, meaning
any piece of software that requires Pro will run exactly the same on MC.

You can not get Pro to become MCE directly. Microsoft does not
sell/distribute the MCE features separately. However, you can get Pro to
almost be the same by added software/hardware that can do the same features.
Look at ATi All in Wonder video cards. They provide a TV tuner and PVR
system. Some even come with a Romote controller.

You can't.

What program is this? Media Center and Professional are exactly
the same except that Media Center has some extra features not in
Professional. Denying you support for using Media Center instead
of Professional is completely unreasonable, in my view.

Thanks to all who responded. You have confirmed my suspision that the reason for no support may be something silly like no one at support ever set it up to try. I should have suspected it would be fine since my main file server is Windows 2000 professional, two work stations are Windows 98,and the last is now Windows XP professional. They all work well together. The program is called R.O. writer. it is for estimates, invoices, inventory, reports, etc in an auto repair shop. I guess its time to restore the media edition and go with it. Thanks again to all.
