Can "Windows Photo Gallery" run on XP (without Vista)?

I currently have XP.
Can I get started with "Windows Photo Gallery" by downloading onto my XP
system, prior to moving to Vista? If so, where do I go to download "Windows
Photo Gallery" for XP?

My goal is to begin TAG'ing and Rating photos prior to leaving XP for Vista.
