can u help?pls

I have 2 hard drives. my main one has recently failed to
boot up. I cant seem to use the xp disc to do anything
apart from go to the recovery console, or re-install xp
screen.


so ive installed xp on my other drive so i can get on
this forum and ask what to do.

when i boot on my main drive it says something like
<windowsboot> win32/hal.dll (i think) is missing please
re-install or copy the file back...or something

can any1 help?

Try a Repair Install

second drive before proceeding.
