Can two people edit the same website with different versions of FP

I maintain a website with FP 2002. I edit the site directly now (do not
publish), and back up the site with an ftp product. I have someone who will
soon begin helping me also edit the website. Since I don't think we can
purchase another license of FP 2002, I will have to have her purchase FP
2003. I know we will have to coordinate what we work on so we don’t mess
each other up. But, what I am not sure about: is it ok if she uses FP 2003
and I use FP 2002? There will be times I may have to go and tweak the work
that she has done, so I will then open the same page(s) in FP 2002. I would
think I would be ok, because we are not using fancy features, plug-ins, etc
that FP offers. Does this make sense? Would there be any other pitfalls?
Thx!

PS
I do not recommend backing up using FTP
If you are using any FP design time tools, the backup will be corrupt if you ever need to restore it, and the FP config files (_vt*
folders) should never be backed up / restored to the server, but created by the server & SE
Just Publish (All 1st time) to a Disc based web (C:\webname) as a backup
- then you can restore (publish from disc based to server based) anytime and get a working web w/o corrupt FP SE

| You shouldn't run into any problems, as long as the FrontPage 2003 user
| doesn't use any of the new features in FrontPage 2003; here's a comparison:
