Can the Font Color for replies in Outlook 2007 be changed?

Outlook 2007 has the "font color" for replies grayed out and uses a default
washed-out blue that does not look much different than black. Is there ANY
way to un-gray and be able to select the reply font color? The way it was
done in 2003 and 2000 allows any color and does not work in 2007. Anyone have
a "work-around"?

A work-around is to use "Quick Styles" on the "Format Text" tab. if you
change it to
Normal, the text is black, Times New Roman". I haven't experimented with
other styles.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to make it the default for
later emails..

I found that you can change the default fonts for replying to and composing
new emails - it's in Tools > Options > Mail Format > Stationery and Fonts.

Thanks.. I have been wanting to do this for ages....
