Can;t Loggon

[W Gray]

Can't loggon to W2K professional. After starting W2K,
loggon window comes up and needs password for
administrator. Type in correct password and it says that
the password is incorrect. Same occurs with user account.
It has the same password. The password is correct, in its
spelling and case. It means that W2K is in inaccessible.
Is there any way to rectify this or is it a reinstall?

try this site http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
it will make it easier if you know a little about Linux
as that is how you boot the machine and fix the sam file
however it is fairly straight forward, it uses a script
file to automate most of it
