Can,t Find 1.35 GB

I have XP home alst TDS3 as an anti trojan. TDS3 has a
folder to put files in to unpack files to scan and is
supposed to empty when finished. It wasn't emptying so I
wound up with 1.35GB in it.They told me to delete and
create a new folder. I did but the available disk space
hasn't changed. The folder went to the recycle bin and
took an hour to clear. I have defraged,done a disk
cleanup and searched but cannot find what happened to the
space. Please help.

When you're going to delete a folder or file of that size
right-click on the Recycle Bin, click Properties and turn
the Bin off so that deletions are direct and don't use it.

Try running CHKDSK.

These things drive my crazy. I have done everything to
find out what is going on. The computer still shows the
space hasn't changed. But I ran Belarc Advisor and it
shows that I have allmost 1.5 GB more available space
than the computer indicates. For some reason the system
is not recognizing as available space

I went in, shut off system restore, rebooted , set a
restore point and there it was . I had my disk space. I
don't understand why what was supposed to be deleted got
stuck there.
