Folder empty but 13 GB Used

The recycled folder on my 2nd hard drive shows 13 GB used but no files are
visible (I've already shown hidden files).

More detail - I did a Ghost of my primary hard drive into an image on the
2nd hard drive - using Norton Ghost 2002. This has worked before but this
time the image appeared in my recycle folder (not where I told it to go).
The Norton boot floppy (PC-DOS) can see the image files in the recycled
folder but Win XP cannot see them - the folder is empty. As I mentioned
above, the properties of the recycled folder show 13 GB used though.

I would like to free up the space and run Ghost again with an updated boot
disk. Any ideas on how to recover the space first though?

Thanks

Type CMD in Start Run

Type

rd recycled /s (or recycler depoending on disk format)
This destroys the recycle bin
Delete any file.
This repaires the recycle bin.

Repeat for each drive.

The recycle bin hold all deleted files from each XP user. Whenever you
empty it out, you only clear out hte files that the "current logged-in user"
had deleted. The other users deleted files are still there.

To clear out all deleted files: Restart in "Safe Mode" and log in as
"Administrator". Then you should have the option to clear out "all user"
deleted files.
