can send emails but can't receive emails

Account: 'mail.optonline.net (1)', Server: 'mail.optonline.net', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

When I try to receive email, I get those messages. I don't know what's
wrong.
Please give me advices!!

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."
