My computer did a major crash and I was unable to get it back up and running.
It had originally been using "D:" as the main boot drive. D is a 60 Gig
Hard Drive. I have a 30 Gig Hard Drive that was partitioned as C: and E:. I
ended up having to reload Windows XP and it went to C: and of course it
removed the partion so I lost E: and now just have the C drive as a single 30
Gig and it won't show the secondary drive (60 Gig) at all when I go to "My
Computer".
When I go to the control panel/system/Hardware/Device Manager/IDE
Controllers it shows that the drive is there as a secondary. It says it is
running fine with no problems and it says the drivers are OK and it should
show up but it doesn't... How do I go about getting this dang thing to show
up in My Computer? I think I may have to assign a drive letter to it, but am
not sure how I do that... Any help will be appreciated...I know just
enough about computers to be dangerous ROFL...
