Can "search files" cache be cleared?

Am using WinXP-pro. When I right click My Document > search > [enter a word
or phrase]... it remembers the word or phrase...and next time when you start
typing in the first few characters... it auto-completes it, i.e.

type first few letters: co
it autocompletes it to: contracts.*

Is there a way to clear these out? Do the clear themselves out after a
certain number of them queue up?

(I had mis-typed a few words so now if I enter some common characters, it
auto-completes the mispelled word...)

In IE, tools, Internet Options, content tab, autocomplete button, clear forms.

Thanks, but the problem is in WinXP "search files and folders" so clearing
the forms in Internet Explorer won't help.

Still would appreciate any other suggestions, thanks
