Can receive cannot send on Outlook 2000

I have a strange problem on my Outlook 2000. I can receive
but cannot send emails which stay in the Outbox and refuse
to get out even much coaxing. When I try to delete an
email in the Outbox, I get a message that IMAP spooling is
underway and email is being transmitted but the message
remains in the outbox and I can do nothing about it. There
is also an error code message 0X80040114. Could anyone
help?

I have the same problem. I heard it was a quirk with
Outlook 2002. By any chance did you ever get a reply to
this problem or resolve the problem?
