Hi,
Here is my problem (excuse my bad english).

I have a network, WinXP clientes and WinServer2003. working in
workgroup not in domain.
Everythig was fine. I installed the Routing And Remote Access Server
and the server PC "disappered" from the network. Cant ping it from a
client pc (nor by IP or by name)

I unistalled the Routing And Remote Access Server and now making "ping
IP" to the server start working again, but making "ping servename" dont
work.
I put the server address to host file and "ping servername" works fine.
The problem is that I dont want to depend in the host file.

What change made "Routing And Remote Access Server" instalation???

Thank you for any help

I would say that it is likely when you enabled the service you chose the
wrong option, installed NAT and it enabled the NAT firewall on the only
interface you have.
You need two NICs for NAT, so don't install NAT.
