Can only edit first page

I've made a copy of our www site for editing. I used xcopy and created a new
site. I've made sure the settings of the www site and the copy are the same.
The operation was successful, there's no difference in user experience
between the www site and the copy. They are on the same server, different
application pools.

However, after browsing to the copy, and clicking the FronPage icon in IE to
edit the copy, the FrontPage editors only get to edit the first page. That is
not the case with the www site, where they get to edit everything.

I have not clue how to troubleshoot this; I've gone over the settings of the
sites over and over again, and can't find any differences.

That's because you copied the FP config files
Never copy a FP site (delete the content of your copy)
Open the original site and use File Publish to publish it to a new site location (Disc based web or subweb under IIS)
