Can not view fax

I upgraded my office from XP to 2003. Now when I receive a fax from winfax
program, I can not view the fax. Even if I save it on the desktop and click
on it, the fax does not open. I try it on a PC with same configuration and
it works fine. I
also tried to go to file types in folder options to force the change but
still does not work. I am not sure if this is a windows XP issue or Office
2003.
The only way that seem to work if I save the fax on my desktop or C:\ and
then click on a program like miniview. Then use the program to find the
file, it will then open and I am able to see the fax. I have been
troubleshooting this problem for a week now. Please help.

Thanks

If your fax files are a tif or tiff Office 2003 uses
Microsoft Office Document imaging to open faxes
if you have Microsoft Office Tools installed you can use MSPVIEW.EXE to
open tiffs right click on the file and
select openwith if Microsoft Office Document Imaging is not listed, then
browse to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\MODI\11.0\MSPVIEW.EXE
