Whenever the computer reboots because when using extra hardware like a
modem, it is not a good sign. This sounds like a Buffer is being overrun in
the modem.
Consider reinstalling the ISP software and trying again.
If it still does it, consider reinstalling the modem software/driver. It
should be on the original install CD.
