can not verify username and password

when dialing up to isp, comp reboots on its own, after
dialing into isp for authentication.

Whenever the computer reboots because when using extra hardware like a
modem, it is not a good sign. This sounds like a Buffer is being overrun in
the modem.

Consider reinstalling the ISP software and trying again.

If it still does it, consider reinstalling the modem software/driver. It
should be on the original install CD.
