Can not stay connected

Windows XP Home Edition.

Recently I ran the Service Pack 1 upgrade. Now I'm having
problem staying connected with the internet. A few seconds
after connected I get this message: System shutting down.
Shut down initiated bt NT administrator. Remote Process
Call (RPC)expired. Then systems shuts down.

Please advise.

Kill the msblast.exe process using Task Manager on the Processes tab.
Then follow the directions at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tr...=/technet/security/virus/alerts/msblaster.asp

If you reboot before cleaning the virus, then kill it again.
