Can not set Home Page in Property dialog

My IE6 was hijacked I was able to remove the hujack by
using spybot but it came back - now I'm unable to set the
default home page - The Internet Properties pick does not
let me in it is restricted - I can get to it by clicking
on the IE icon and properties that way but the default
home page area is not selectable - Help!

To unlock the Internet Options and HomePage settings, follow these steps:
1. Quit all instances of Internet Explorer
2. Open Regedit.exe, navigate to this branch:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
Restrictions]

3. Delete the "NoBrowserOptions" Binary value and "HomePage" DWORD value

4. Close Registry Editor, restart IE.

Get these tools, but more importantly read the security issues on the site.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
