Can Not Send Emails

Let's see if I can explain the basics in more simple terms.
The settings such as the POP and SMTP mail server names DO NOT
belong with a specific email program (like Windows Mail), they belong to
a specific mail service provider like Yahoo or Comcast or DeJazzd.

If you started getting mails using Windows Mail and not on your iPhone and you were using the pop3 protocol in Windows Mail,
have/had you configured Windows Mail to leave messages on the server ?
- If not, the iPhone cannot download messages that are no longer present on the web server.

Ie..it may not be because the iPhone doesn't recognize Windows Mail or vice versa.
