Can not send any E-Mail outlook XP

when I try to send an E-Mail it get the following return
message.
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended
recipients.

Subject: office safety month
Sent: 12/3/2003 7:10 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

Laura Danks on 12/3/2003 7:10 PM
473 (e-mail address removed) relaying
prohibited. You should authenticate first

Note I can receive mail,,,also there is not header info
in the return message

The key words in that error message are "relaying prohibited" and
"authenticate". Your ISP is not allowing you to send to that recipient
through its servers for whatever reason. Go to Tools | E-mail Accounts |
View or change existing e-mail accounts, select the account you're using to
try to send your message, click Change, then More Settings, then the
Outgoing Server tab. Set up authentication to your outgoing mail server
there. You may also have to set it to receive mail before sending.

Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention -- do your friends and associates a
favor and don't post their real e-mail addresses in a public forum. These
forums are prime locations for spammers to harvest valid e-mail addresses.
I edited your recipient's e-mail address out of your original message in my
last reply as well as this one.
