can not reply to or send email

When I attempt to reply to an email or, alternatively, when I try to send the
reply as a new message, I get the message "the following recipient(s) could
not be reached:

'(e-mail address removed)' on 2/9/2005 4:45 PM
550 #5.1.0 Address rejected.

This only started yesterday evening. I haven't made any changes to my
program that I am aware of. Any solutions?

You probably need to authenticate to your outgoing mail server, which can
be set up on the "Outgoing server" tab for your account.

I tried that. it appears to be set up correctly, but I am still unable to
send replies from within outlook. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I turned logging on and sent reply. I can't locate the log file, however. i
will try again in the morning.

You may need to search for hidden files in order to find it.

I was successful, somehow, this morning in sending a reply. It appears that
the problem is resolved.

550 #5.1.0 Address rejected

Hi boys,

I started to have this problem since 2 or 3 month ago.

When I reply same emails, not all, I instantly received a mail from the “System Administrator” with the following info…

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: JADA JADA JADA

Sent: Current Date

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'email address' on Current Date

550 #5.1.0 Address rejected.

Well… I checked all the sites that talk about this problem, but no one has the solution.

After some time thinking and thinking, I solved the puzzle.

2 or 3 month ago I start receiving a lot of spam and junk mail, so I went to the “Junk E-mail” option in the “Actions” menu in Outlook 2003, and select “Junk E-mail Options…”. Then, in the “Options” tab, I select the “Safe List Only”, so all e-mails sent to my address went to the “Junk E-mail” folder, till I check them as a Safe Recipients.

Also, this option talk about “Safe Senders”, so if the email address whom you are sending an email is not registered as a safe sender, you will receive the email from above (System Administrator).

If you want to make a test, when you this email… register the sender as a safe sender in the junk e-mail option when you right click over an email in your in box.

So, my recommendations are that you change your Junk E-mail Protection in Outlook 2003 to high.

Kisses
