You really don't need to uninstall the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, because
some application including your log on user name and password using the Net
framework to log you on your system.
why are you trying to perform this step, are in a shortage of space or you
trying to install another version?.
Here is a definition for NET Framework:
Is a Microsoft software component that can be added or installed on
Microsoft Windows Operating system or platform.
It support or provide a support for coded applications/programs that written
in NET framework language to be executed on your system.
Such application written in NET Framework like, Visual Basic, C++, J2EE, MS
Office, user interface, Website data programming in ASP, Cryptography, some
games, Anti-viruses software.
