I looked, and I downloaded the connecter when I was notified about it last
week or the week before. I downloaded it again today thinking that perhaps I
hadn't completed the download the first time. So in answer to your question,
"Hell's bell's yes I looked."

I'm still not able to send or receive mail. Any suggestions besides
downloading the connector a 3rd time?

Did you install it and configure your account in it? Did you delete the old
HTTP account from your profile?

Huh? Speak slowly and simply, please. I have deleted that account with
Outlook and now I cannot add it back in. Off to try again, and again.

When you downloaded the Connector, did you install it and configure an
account to use with it? It won't magically convert the HTTP account to use
the connector.

Who cares how its sent? The old protocol was listed in outlook as "HTTP",
not WebDAV. End users don't know WebDAV from DeltaSync - they only know the
account they created in Outlook doesn't work anymore. They don't need long
explanations about the differences between webdav and deltasync, only how to
make it work and that is by removing the account they created using the HTTP
protocol.

I have one computer that is Outlook 2002 - all the reading I have done, the
connector will NOT work with 2002. I set-up a POP3 account, which worked for
a couple of hours then stopped sending mail. I can receive mail just fine.
I plan on upgrading to Outlook 2007 and hope that solves the problem.

Why not use GMail or Yahoo Mail instead? It's a lot cheaper than a new
license for office! You can receive and send Yahoo mail if it isn't
yahoo.com or yahoo.ca. Personally, I ONLY have a Hotmail account for
signing in purposes on Microsoft sites. Unlike Google and Yahoo,
Microsoft regularly sends me SPAM. I've never given this Hotmail account
out to anyone except Microsoft.

This is a business and the email account has been set up for years. Too many
people to try and notify. I will Outlook stand-alone program - not the whole
office program.

You use Hotmail for BUSINESS? I for one wouldn't do BUSINESS with someone
using a hotmail email address...

Gordon - We have several MSN email accounts that were set up over 10 years
ago. With doing business world wide it is hard to get people use to a new
email address.

I'm not querying that - I'm querying the use of Hotmail for a BUSINESS email
address. I and many people I know would NOT do business with someone who
can't afford the US$ 16 (approx) per year for their own BUSINESS email
address....

You use Snotmail for business!? Can't afford to buy a domain? Like
Gordon, I wouldn't do business with someone who used a free web mail
address. If you have all your contacts in your address book, all you
need to do is send ONE email to all of them (bcc if you don't want them
to get to know each other) to inform them of the new email.

So Gordon tell me how your reply helps her problem? All you did was tell her
YOU would not do business with someone using a hotmail account. That does
not help her problem at all. Just like all your other "post" I have yet read
anything from you that's actually solves a problem.

The OPs problem, chummy, is using a free Hotmail account for BUSINESS in the
first place. Would YOU do business with someone using a free Hotmail
account? I certainly wouldn't.
