I have win2K with printer and w98se in LAN.
I can not print of shared win2K printer from win98.
I made user name of win98 on win2K, so I can access win2K file from win98,
but not print.

I checked winsupport web sight but does not look good for me.
Anybody have any idea?

thank you

.

I have a similar network.
I have 1 Windows 2000 Professional CPU
and 50 Windows 98SE PC's.

There is a section for adding additional print drivers
while installing printers on the Windows 2000 machine.

You may have to install the Windows 98 driver as an
additional driver for this printer.

This is what I had to do to get the Windows 2000 machine
to allow printing from the Windows 98SE machines.

You may have to download the driver from somewhere.

It took me a couple of days to figure all that out...
.... but its been working for a long time now.
