Can not Log On to Desktop

I have a Duracom PC with an ASUS Motherboard, I have installed 4GB of RAM. It
came with a 40GB hard Drive and I added a Western Digital 250GB hard Drive
and made it my Master and the the C: drive my slave. I purchased WinTasks Pro
and received System Tweaker as a bonus. While trying to configure the
Tweaker, the electric went off and my PC shut down before I was through. I
have a lot of important files on this computer and do not wish to lose them
if possible. When my PC starts up it asks for a password which I never typed
in. The tweaker issued some sort of password and I cannot get past the logon
point. I was able to recover C: drive and am able to logon to it but cannot
get to the Western Digital drive. Is there any software or way to get past
the "enter Password" to recover the contents of that drive and uninstall the
tweaker? I have not ran the recovery disc since it would delete everything
on the drive. I was stupid and never backed up my files on the computer
before the mishap. I am hoping to find a way to get past the "Enter Password"
so I can disable or uninstall System Tweaker. If you are unable help me I
will have to run the recovery disc and start all over. Thank you in advance
for any help you can provide.

Not sure if you mean a windows logon password or the recovery console
password? Try booting to safe mode.

I tried booting up in safe mode and still no luck. System Tweaker is
manufactured by Uniblue and all they would do is offer to refund my money. It
is apparently the logon password. It could just be blank but that drive is
locked unless I can figure what the password is or can find a way to get
passed it to access the drive and delete the program and restore the ability
to logon to it since it is my Master and the 40GB drive is the Slave. Luckily
Both C: and E: had the Windows OS on them. That is how I rescued C: and am
able to logon to it.

Change the master to the slave on your pc or another one. Rescue your data
and then format/reload windows.
