Can not install any software that uses microsoft installer...

Everytime I attemp to install any software that uses the
microsoft installer I get the following message "The
installer terminated prematurely." Followed by "The I/O
operation has been aborted because of either a thread
exit or an application request" I turned on error logging
for one of the msi's and I got the below.

Nevermind. downloaded mscoree.dll from a website.
replaced my current one with the new one. and it works
beautifully now.
