I sucessfully installed Vista, not really having any other major problems
except fot the windows installer. Every program no matter what it is, even
trying to reinstall windpws Vista, pops up with "The Windows Installer
Service coiuld not be loaded. reinstall.......or see your bla, bla bla.
I have read extensivly thru this forum and other fourms....with no solutions
.....please help if you can...

It will not let anything install, even a reinstall..........no updated, or a
complete reinstall of vista, or any additional programs....they all come back
with "Window Installer Service is not properly installed.....etc.

Chad H. has mentioned in this newsgroup a program on the DVD called WinRE.
I suggest you search the newsgroup for this. There is some very good
information available from Chad, also, and it may be helpful to you.

If all else fails, it should be very easy to reformat the partition first
and then install Vista again, shouldn't it?

Being a beta test, why don't you so you can report bugs on it? That's why
we're here. Nobody is keeping valuable files in Vista Beta anyway, right?
