Can not get into hotmail account

My friend has not been able to get into her account for the last 30 hrs.
First hotmail said you have typed an incorrect password or email address.
Then after many tries, it locked her out, saying you have tried to sign in
with the wrong email or password or someone else is trying to log in. She has
had this account for 4 years, but is locked out what does she do? how does
she get in, all her work and school projects, contacts are there.
HELP..
