"Can not display this video mode"

"Can not display this video mode"

I am getting this message when trying to open a dos based
rating program. Rating program is for insurance agency,
no problem on the other computers in the office, just
one...it's a dell optiplex gs260, with a flat screen. I
tried changing the pixels but I still got the same
message on a black screen when I open the program. Can
anyone help me? I'm at a loss...
