Can not delete duplicate personal folders

I have just purchased a new computer and when trying to transfer my outlook
file I have somehow created 3 Personal Folders. I have tried to “delete†or
“close†the extra ones and nothing works. They are all three receiving and
displaying all of the same email.

so you have to delete the two others.
Please went into the control panel | mail | data files and delete the
personal folders you want to.
 
Thank you for the advice. In the | MAIL | Data Folder there is only 1
Personal Folder.
 
I have the same problem and I am tring to find a way of completly
uninstalling outlook in order to start over but it keeps on remembering the
old pst and other settings. do you know how to remove all settings?
 
Not yet but if I find out i will let you know.

Did this ever get a resolution to it? Because, I know have the same issue
in that I have to person folders that have the saem information and I cannot
delete or close either one of them.
