Duplicate Messages in both Inbox and Sent Items - Office 2003

Hi all,
I have installed Outlook 2003. When I send and receive I get duplicates of
each message. I am using only one personal profile.pst file. I have four sub
folders in both the Inox and Sent items, but in each case I transfer the
message into the subfolder manually as they are sent or received. Havent got
into automatic mode yet! Please help.
