I have lost my defrag.exe in windows/system32 by accident. Too quick on the
trigger when deleting shortcuts....
Kindly supply solution.

It should have been immediately replaced by system file protection. Are you
certain it is no longer there? Be sure to refresh the folder. If it is
missing open a command prompt and type SFC /SCANNOW to can and replace any
missing or corrupt files. This should replace it; you may be asked to insert
your Windows XP CD-ROM

Hope that works

Hello Helge,

Create a new shortcut with the "Target:" pointing to

%SystemRoot%\System32\dfrg.msc
